Inspired and imagined. This is my process. Visual effects and post-production are what I yearn for. My creative journey is a forever-expanding exploration of how far I can push myself to the limit. The digital canvas becomes my playground, where I can create visual wonders that go far beyond the ordinary.
My work has been inspired primarily by fantastical elements, as that is the world that I was thrust into at a young age and am currently still in love with. From explosions to running at the speed of sound, I strive to create visuals that not only captivate the eye but also evoke emotion. Although I hope to expand to different realms of the visual effects world and reach new heights, this will help me grow as an artist. Yet, whether I am crafting a fantasy world of giants roaming the land or the simple visuals of a camera shake, my goal is to elicit a sense of wonder and awe.
What truly immersed me in the world of visual effects was the creative visionary behind Marvel’s Doctor Strange. Richard Bluff and Mark Bakowski outdid themselves, and I primarily draw my inspiration from the jaw-dropping effects in that film, breaking through different dimensions to enter someone’s mind. My goal one day is to be able to reach these limits on what I can do in my work. These outstanding effects demonstrated in this film and their ability to evoke emotion through imagery have left a mark on my artistic sense, which influences my approach to creating outstanding visual experiences.
This industry requires innovation and a unique perspective to create visually stunning images that push the limits of what is visually possible. My goal is to contribute to the visual effects industry by pushing my creative boundaries, not only within this realm, but by looking toward accomplished artists in other mediums such as 3D modelling, animation, and even literature. Through this, I plan to aspire to inspire the next generation of artists in this creative field.
